Start prepping and training because here comes another contest at the World Famous A’ala Park. A’ala Park has bred a bunch of talented skateboarders and keeps pushing / testing the limits of anybody who enters the gates of the Park. The contest will be on Saturday the 6th of June. With a bunch of sponsers, prizes, and food it should be fun event for who those enter or the ones spectating. You can sign up with ASH if you want enter.

It’s still May and we have the June shipment of Nike SB’s seeping into the shop. This line up includes a fire engine red suede Blazers with a subtle suede black crock skin swoosh. Next to follow is a deep purple Dunk Mid with a nice gold inside lining to compliment the that purps and all white sole to keep that cleaness of the show of savey. Last but not least is a P-Rod 2 which you might recognize and be familiar with the pattern, its a blast to the past from when the first SB series started to drop. Back then it would be that Supreme Dunk Low cement color way… this time Nike SB gives you it in the form a P-Rod 2… Get yours while supplies last…. See details below….

Our friends at Stussy Honolulu will be celebrating there 1 year anniversary for the store at Hokua Tower. It will be held on Saturday May 23rd from 7-9pm with food and drinks plus Stussy OG Dj Jules will be providing the music. Introducing another brand line to the Ward Shop. Say hello to Litl Saints. As we grow older a new generation of fashion and styles evolve, with this spawns more savey conscious parents looking to spruce out there little crumb snatchers.

Litl Saints was formed in 2008 after Kui and Kristin Bento had their first child Asher. They noticed there wasn’t anything they were happy dressing their son in that expressed who they were as individuals. So they decided they weren’t gonna make their son look like every other kid who has to wear your typical blue/ pink outfits, it was here Litl saints began to take shape.

After reuniting with an old friend, Justin Park joined the group; Justin is known for his street art which has been displayed at the APB art show and the Adidas store in Ala Moana. Kui and Justin played together back in the day in a punk band called Center City. Together with this combination of music, Kui’s passion for street culture, Justin’s background in street art Litl Saints is what it is today. We believe this generation isn’t like the past and each person has a strong sense of who they are, even the keiki (kids). Why not let them wear black instead of blue, or have a Mohawk rather than a bowl cut, after all they’re all Litl Saints.
