Through travels in and out of Hawaii, Aloha Army, In4mation and Menehune Mac presents this gift for you to enjoy or to give to a friend or loved one. A box of Hawaiian handmade chocolates with a milk bottle cap Hawaii plantation game called POG born in the 1920’s. Featuring a cut out collectable game piece with full instructions on how to play the game on the box.

Menehune Mac is Hawaii’s oldest manufacturer of chocolate covered macadamia nut candies since 1939. Using only Hawaii-grown macadamia nuts and all of their chocolate candies that are carefully handmade.

In 2002 In4mation first started as a street/action sport lifestyle store and now being recognize as a lifestyle brand worldwide and grown to three other stores in Hawaii and design/production office and showroom in New York City.

Aloha Army is a Hawaii’s pride of the Islands. A local Hawaii brand focusing on the lifestyle and culture of Hawaii.

Together Menehune Mac, In4mation and AlohaArmy will be releasing this unlimted box of chocolates and merchandise worldwide and online stores on September 19th.

Sunday the 20th, from 3-7pm, The Blue Scholars and In4mation will be hosting a listening Party at Magic Island to Celebrate the release of the their Hawaii – Themed “OOF” EP. Its going to be a beach bound casual wear type of event that you can bring your friends, family, fans of the group, or just want to sit back relax and talk story. A pot luck BBQ steez with good music and companionship. Hope to see you there.

“People ask me why I care about making a mix of Hawaiian tunes. I tell them that it’s because Iʼm from Seattle.

I donʼt think I can apply the word ‘foreign’ to any cultural elements that have influenced me in becoming the person I am today.

Through years of, um, ‘nourishment’ from grinds, to listening to Jawaiian tunes as a teenager, to starting a group with a military kid from Honolulu, to learning the meaning of ‘false crack’ the hard way (ha!)… the spirit of Hawaii has long maintained a notable presence in my life.

And while Iʼm not Hawaiian, nor do I claim to be a local boy, I acknowledge and am thankful for the role that the Islands have played in the development of my cultural identity.

For me, a big part of the OOF! EP project was to experiment with a new way of identifying who we are and where we come from. It was an exercise in global cultural expression. Perhaps this is the age we can start believing that ‘where we are from’ is anywhere that has influenced us in becoming who we are. And perhaps our brothers and sisters are simply those who want to share this belief with us.

Watch out tho. When you embrace this idea, you start to think that home can be everywhere and your people could be everyone.

World-renowned fine artist Dalek will show an original, never-before-seen piece in 2D: The Art of 2Day– an art exhibit at the SoHo Mixed Media Bar, on Friday, August 7 to benefit The Contemporary Museum (TCM). In conjunction with this historic showcase of contemporary fine art, the SoHo Mixed Media Bar will also unveil a new addition to their already stellar facilities.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and Soho Mixed Media Bar is located on 80 S. Pauahi Street in Downtown Honolulu. This event coincides with the First Friday Art Walk in August and was orchestrated by trendsetting apparel retailers In4mation and Contrast Magazine to benefit The Contemporary Museum.

In the week preceding 2D: The Art of 2Day, Dalek will create an original piece of art at SoHo on multiple panels. The media is welcomed to cover Marshall’s creative process, but all coverage needs to be approved and scheduled prior to visit. So far, the artist has no particular design planned for the panels and is relying on his feelings at the moment to create something original and beautiful.

“Planning and I aren’t friends,” says Marshall who is best known for his iconic “Space Monkey” character. “I leave all things to the hands of what will be. Adaptation and execution are instinctual. I like to not know what I am doing and trust that my natural instincts will drive the project home.”

In4mation and Dalek also designed a limited edition T-shirt and print to commemorate this historic event. With every T-shirt purchase the consumer will receive a one-year individual membership at TCM– Hawai‘i’s only museum devoted exclusively to contemporary art.

In4mation and G-Shock is back again with its 3rd installment to the 5600 Glide model watch. This time a Salmon color was chosen for this model…also when lit up at night you can see the “aloha” in the back light in the same font as our Aya hat that was stitched under the bill for the stoke mentoring project.

It will be release in the Ward In4mation and Waikiki Aloha Army shop at 10am Hawaii time. First come first served. It will also be available for Online Purchase for the people in the mainland who can’t make it down to the shops. See you folks tomorrow.
