It was a little chilly but it didn’t stop Billy Rohan, Alex Corporan and the skateboarding community for NYC Parks and Recreations Streetgames 2010 in 116th Street in Spanish Harlem.  It was also hosted by special guest Chad Muska where cash money was given to the best tricks on several obstacles. We’re talking $20’s, $50’s and $100 for several hours. Big ups to Billy Rohan and Alex Corporan for always putting together a great job for NYC skateboarding community. Stay tune for more!

The highly anticipated book Full Bleed will be released this year towards the end of April 2010. A project curated by Ivory Serra, Andre Razo and Alex Corporan on skateboarding photography  shot over the past 30 years in New York CIty with over 40 photographers including Giovanni Reda, Mike O’Meally, and female photographers Angela Boatwright, Jessica Bard and Elska Sandor. With a great start to the Quiksilver Pro, the 2010 ASP World Tour season is out the gates. This first event is the surfers response to the months of hype and speculation brought on by the surf media in the off season. One heat into the first contest can by no means answers any of these questions. But, its an attempt for the surfers, no matter how futile it may be, to silence their critics.
