To kick of the upcoming futsal season right, we have assembled for your viewing pleasure, a futsal event of epic proportion. This event will be played in the streets of Chinatown on Fat Tuesday February 21, 2012 during the Mardi Gras Festival. The event will showcase the very best ball artist in the state as they compete in an all out 3v3 futsal invitational hosted by Paradise SC, Human Imagination and Nike. 10,000 people will be in the streets of Chinatown enjoying the Mardi Gras festival themed “Carnaval”. There are no referees, no goalies and no whistles. The pitch is uneven and rough and the goals are tiny, ideal for the true futsal technician. The format is pick-up style with the winners staying on and the losers getting back in line. The players will be competing for bragging rights to this street title as well as prizes from Nike and Human Imagination.

Event starts at 7pm sharp and ends at 10pm. The games will be played on two pitches on Smith Street between Pauahi and Hotel Street.

Parking can be found in the Municipal parking lot (underground) for $3 until 12pm . It can be found on N Beretania Street on the left side right next too 1170 Nuuanu Avenue, Honolulu.
